Beliefs

We Believe….

That the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God (II Pet. 1:20, 21 and II Tim. 3:16) God’s word will last forever (Mt. 24:35).

That there is only one God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (I Jn. 5:7; Jn. 1:32-34).

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (Jn. 10:30), in His virgin birth (Mt. 1:23), in His sinless life (Heb. 4:14, 15), in His miracles (Mt. 4:23, 24), in His vicarious and atoning death (Acts 4:12; I Jn. 2:2), in His bodily resurrection (I Cor. 15:3, 4), in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Jn. 20:17), and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory (Lu. 21:27).

In the blessed hope of the rapture of the Church at Christ’s second coming (I Thess. 4:16, 17).

The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (Eph. 2:8, 9; I Jn. 1:7, 9).

God is willing that none would perish, that all would come to repentance (II Pet. 3:9b) and is therefore willing to accept all that believe, repent and call upon His Name (Rom. 3:22).

Security of salvation in Jesus Christ does not preclude a person from willfully walking away and choosing to abandon the faith and their salvation (Heb. 6:4-6).

That regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (Jn. 3:3,5; Tit. 3:5).

That the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it as a second work of grace which empowers Believers for service (Acts 2:38; Luke. 11:11, 13).

That the redemptive work of Christ on the cross can provide healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (Pet. 2:24; Jas. 5:14-16).

In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Col. 1:22; Eph. 1:4).

In the resurrection of the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Rev. 20:6).
